As the subject says. Is there anything that you can do with some really BAD Chocolate Mint Ice Cream? I bought some Stoney Creek Ice cream and it really sucks, but I don’t like throwing out food. Can anyone suggest anything (dessert like) that can be done with said Ice Cream?
How can mint chocolate chip ice cream be bad? What’s bad about it? Too chocolatey? Too minty? Too creamy?
Inconceiveable!
Unless it’s gone all icy and slimy. Yecccchhhh.
Make some REALLY bad sundaes out of it. You honestly expected any ice cream with mint in it to be edible? Sheesh!
Milkshakes—you got a blender?
The Grasshopper:
Mix some Crème de Menthe and Crème de Cocoa into some ice cream, serve in a chilled glass.
I had the same reaction as Morgainelf. Bad mint chocolate chip ice cream? How?
I like Eve’s answer, but if I might suggest a variation: you might find this solution more disgusting than your original problem, but I like to put the stuff in a blender with a little milk and Oregon Chai tea. The green tea flavored Chai works particularly well.
its bad as in just plain bad. I love mint Ice cream (hence why I bought it), but this stuff just cant be eaten as is.
I thought about making shakes out of it. But I can’t really think of anything other than adding more chocolate to it.
Any other suggestions?
Try a little bit of Irish Cream flavored coffee creamer. I always use that in milkshakes if we have it around.
Mix it with five gallons of high quality chocolate ice cream.
another milkshake suggestion. Just add some shots of espresso or even some freeze dried instant coffee (great for baking or milkshakes).
