For itunes, I’m a man and Southern California Purples by Chicago. See them perform the former on Youtube.
3 candles and gift bags for door prizes
Two FunkoPops (Rose Quartz and Tiny Tina), and a BarBurrito burrito (pulled pork on white, with rice, black beans, cheese, sour cream and their signature hot sauce).
A couple of beers and a small plate of nachos at the local sports bar. And my Blue Jays won their game against the Royals! Nice night out.

A book on the musical British invasion from the first wave to the new wave called, The British Invasion, From the First Wave to the New Wave by Nicholas Schaffner, published in 1983. I had it in college and I was feeling very nostalgic when I tripped across it on Amazon, so I bought it. I just got it today. It’s a hard cover; the edition I had had was soft cover, but it’s sending me back to my dorm room in Orono. It’s separated into major sections on The Beatles, The Stones, The Kinks, The Who, Pink Floyd, T. Rex, David Bowie and The Next Wave (from the Sex Pistols to The Police) and then about a hundred pages of one or two page blurbs on the dozens and dozens of other British bands to make it big: Adam and the Ants, Be-Bop Deluxe, ELP, The Psychedelic Furs, The Yardbirds, etc. along with tables of top 20 singles by year and a sort of British Invasion timeline (“The British Rock Diary” which starts in 1963 (Beatles tour Scotland to promote Love Me Do) and ends at Dec 27, 1980 (Lennon’s Starting Over hits #1)).
I also ordered a copy of the original Book of Lists - a tome which I consider the proto-Dope; it’s the book that pretty much turned me into a reader and a trivia nut - but it hasn’t shown up yet.
Clearly Canadian Mountain Blackberr and some violet flavored candy
Wired optical mouse, mine crashed. Three bucks for one that was originally included in the box with an Acer PC. So cheap, I bought two, keep one as a backup.
A milk shake from sonic.
A Dark 'n Stormy kit (a 75cl bottle of Gosling’s Black Seal rum and two tins of Goslings ginger beer).
Chinese take-out
Gave my daughter cash to buy a ticket for the high school football game.
One Red Baron frozen pepperoni pizza.
Interesting notes on the books I bought - noted above:
Both are used books. The British Invasion has a stamp on it’s pages reading, “Flagstaff High School,” and The Book of Lists has a hand written note on the inside reading, “1977 - Merry Christmas Grandma and Grandpa - in our book of lists you are number one in every category. Love, Travis & his parents.”
Used books are cool.
A couple of pieces of labradorite for Madame P.
She loves labradorite best of all stones.
My sister, too. I sent her Labradorite earrings from Finland 50 years ago, and she still loves Labradorite.
A pepperoni roll
