So if I’m reading you right, the fact that somebody somewhere has murdered somebody makes it okay if I go around murdering people.
And what he was specifically saying was that he was in the rich and famous class, and you could identify him as being rich and famous because he sexually assaults people. Just like the big boys!
Trump and his supporters are misogynistic and support the rape and abuse of women. That’s why saying such things make him popular with them; they *want *women to be assaulted, to be raped, and to be killed.
It was a boast, not a “joke”, said because he knew boasting of assaulting women is something his followers want to hear and is something he is proud of.
Also, doing and saying awful things and claiming it’s a “joke” is standard far-right rhetorical tactics. The neo-Nazis do it all the time, it’s an explicit strategy of theirs. Never believe them.
Is this a joke? Trump’s supporters support the rape and abuse of women and want women to be killed. All 63 million of the people who voted for him want women to be killed?
Does this include the women who voted for him? They want to be raped and killed?
I’m not sure why you keep persisting in this line of questioning like I’m on a witness stand or something. I think it is clear that Trump has a pretty empty existence inside of himself. He devotes himself to work full time, failing at some things, succeeding greatly in others, but he has a weakness for women which has cost him two marriages, and is now in a third marriage which is, by all objective accounts, a show marriage with a trophy wife many years his junior.
To fill that empty void, he tries to impress a D-list celebrity by telling him how much tail he is pulling, and how women just throw themselves at him. He didn’t say that he forces himself on women and grabs them whether they like it or not, he said that they “let him” because he is Donald J. Trump, Mr. God’s Gift to Women.
They let him do anything. He needed tic tacs because these women just let him walk up and kiss them. Hell, he could grab them by the pussy and they wouldn’t care.
Simple bragging nonsense. And this is not at all a compliment to Trump, but it seems like in this threads unless Trump is called anything less than the Antichrist then that is not good enough, because he is far more evil than that.
I just want to make sure I’ve got it right. All 63 million people who voted for Trump, including the women who voted for Trump, are monsters who want women to be abused, raped, killed, enslaved, or tortured? All of those five or just one or more of the five?
No, but many if not most of them fall into two fields which are actually one, that of people with a complete lack of empathy for anybody they don’t personally know, or even for anybody not themselves:
all those women are unworthy, except if they happen to be me or one of mine.
all those women are unworthy, except me.
Which “those”? Why, any woman who gets groped, assaulted or raped (she was wearing jeans, she was wearing a short skirt, she was wearing a long skirt, she was wearing a pantsuit… in any case it is her fault), or any woman who wants an abortion, or any woman who wants/needs to avoid pregnancy…
“I never thought they’d eat MY face”, in other words.
Trump bragged about “grabbing pussy.” But these witnesses, some of them strangers to Trump, only complained of “fondling vulva.” How many pounds of force need be applied to change a “fondle” to a “grab”?
I’m also curious, UltraVires. Did you laugh?
BTW, can you tell us how many pounds of force are needed to change a “fondle” to a “grab”? Or is it your claim that all those women were just … joking?
Very charitable towards Trump. No idea why you’d be so charitable, but you must realize that others will see plenty of legitimate reason to not assume the best possible interpretation, right?
Do you mean other than golf weekends, “executive time”, watching several hours of Fox News, skipping and not reading security briefings, watching and getting mad about SNL, and tweeting nasty shit about people? I mean, seriously, you can’t possibly believe this.
People voted for Trump and the Republicans because they wanted to hurt as many people as possible as much as possible, regardless of the consequences to themselves. All they care about is inflicting as much suffering as possible.
I think this is the disconnect. I think you think the behavior Trump describes is extraordinarily rare–that it never really happens, so anyone claiming to have done such a thing is almost certainly being hyperbolic, like if they claimed to “eat like a horse” or whatever. It’s so preposterous that it’s understood by everyone that it’s not literally true.
I think this behavior is, if not common, not at all rare, and so someone claiming to have done it is saying something plausible. It’s as believable as it would be if he confessed to cheating on his wife or smoking dope or any other common illicit act.
Could you please clarify WHY you don’t think it’s plausible that he does this?
Well, I’m still waiting for a *logical *explanation why 63 million people would vote for such an incompetent ass. Perhaps we have to switch to irrational explanations.
No, I didn’t think it was funny. Dirty jokes usually rely on the shock of the punch line to get a laugh but I had heard going in he had said something horrible, so I was expecting worse and thus the punch line did not land.
