Yesterday’s dinner: Turkey on really good wheat bread, with mayonnaise, Tillamook habanero jack, lettuce, tomato, and alfalfa sprouts.
Yesterday’s lunch: Bologna and lettuce with mayo on cheap wheat bread.
Yesterday’s breakfast: A bacon cheeseburger from the gas station. (A burger is technically a sandwich. If you don’t accept that, then I had a bologna and lettuce with mayo on cheap wheat bread for Thursday’s lunch.)
Reuben, Reuben, Reuben. (I realized I had a big jar of sauerkraut, and recently bought rye bread and Thousand Island dressing and deli meat for to whittle it down.)
Excellent! We like Reubens, but Mrs. L.A. complains I make them too big. I understand the words individually, but not when she puts them in that order.
Haha, I just bought a package of bologna and a loaf of white bread because I had a sudden craving for the bologna sandwiches of my youth. Just bread, mayo and bologna. So far I’ve had one for my last two lunches and yesterday I also had one for breakfast.
I plan to eat one whenever I feel like it until the bologna is gone.
My more upscale sandwich before the bologna binge was pastrami, smoked gouda and hot mustard on Asiago cheese bread.
