What were the last three sandwiches you ate?

I love bread and it’s fairly cheap so I have sandwiches almost every day.

For breakfast this morning I had a hunk of toasted sweet Italian bread filled with cream cheese and chocolate butter.

Yesterday: Peanut butter (Kroger brand creamy) and grape jelly on white wheat.

Also: Brown sugar ham and Colby-jack cheese open face broiled with a juicy tomato on top and a drizzle of poppy seed dressing. The bread was some kind of dark whole grain. Wheat-berry maybe.

Caprese
Roast beef and blue cheese
10 year sharp cheddar, Branston pickle, & ham off the bone

This morning’s brekkie: Homemade sesame seed bagel with cream cheese and salmon I smoked last week;

Yesterday’s lunch: Tuna salad made with scallions, chopped dill pickle and chopped celery and mayonnaise, with salad greens on homemade sourdough toast;

Last Wednesday: Grilled leftover chicken breast with avocado, chopped red onion, sliced tomato, smoked Gouda cheese, salad greens and alfalfa sprouts on homemade French baguette.

Hamburger

Sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit

Tuna on rye

Today’s lunch: A microwaved chicken and swiss cheese sandwich purchased at the gas station. Surprisingly good, too.

Dinner on Thursday: Two fried eggs on Italian bread toast with locally produced brown mustard.

The third one? No idea.

Funny because I usually don’t eat a lot of sandwiches, but I have had a lot over the last week or two.
Today lunch- chicken salad sandwich
last night dinner- Benedictine (cucumber-cream cheese spread) sandwich
yesterday lunch- turkey bacon avocado club at Panera
Then there was a peanut butter sandwich a couple days ago for breakfast, but that’s 4. :stuck_out_tongue:

Does anyone like salmon salad sandwiches? We don’t have any tuna, but we have a can of salmon.

I’m no fan of salmon salad but I’ll make salmon cakes to eat on a bun.

Roast beef burner: Roast beef, turkey, cheddar, mozzarella, tomato, lettuce, green peppers, jalepenos

Peanut butter and jelly: Peanut butter and raspberry jelly

Turkey: Turkey, provolone, lettuce, tomato

In no particular order:

Cheese (Camembert).
Smoked salmon.
Cheese & tomato.

A foot long Vegetarian from Subway on 9 grain wheat. I had them put ALL the veggies, plus peppers, guacamole and Italian dressing.

A six inch Pepper Steak from Subway on Jalapeno Chedder bread. With extra Jalapenos.

A Salmon patty, jalapenos, onion, pickles, Mayo with Mrs. Dash Lemon Pepper, on a Bolio (sp?) roll.

Sandwiches are only ever a lunchtime thing and I try to avoid having them regularly. The last 3 spread over some time would all be bánh mì with various fillings from the same shop near work. Probably satay chicken, pork meatballs or maybe bbq pork all with extra chili.

This Morning: Braunsweiger with pickles and a bowl Chicken Noodle soup.

Yesterday evening: Grilled cheese with pickle, tomato, and mayo.

Yesterday afternoon: 5 Guys Cheeseburger.

PBJ
Bacon and fresh tomato slice on grilled cheese with mayo.
BLT with lettuce.

The last half-dozen or so have been peanut butter with a robust underpinning of Marmite.

Philly Cheesesteak
Italian Hoagie
Corned Beef on Rye

There may have been a few more cheesesteaks after the corned beef…I don’t remember. But, all were homemade; and all were delicious.

Love them. But, they’re no good without lots of sliced cucumber.

Stromboli last night (that’s a sandwich, right?).
Egg salad for lunch Wednesday.
Grilled cheese for lunch Tueday.

Blech! Every 10 years or so I try salmon to see if my tastes have changed. They haven’t. The only way I find salmon edible is smoked beyond belief. We’re not talking lox here. We’re talking catching the fish yourself, then throwing it in your smokehouse out back for however many hours (days) it takes to get a good, hot smoke on it. Then can it and eat it like candy all winter.

Lunch yesterday: Egg bagel with cream cheese, tomato and lox
Lunch sometime last week: Peanut butter and banana on whole wheat
Another lunch last week: Turkey and havarti on a cheese roll
