So, my Wii U game library is increasing nicely. So far I have:
Super Mario 3D World:
Great game, though not the 3D Mario I’ve been hoping for. I think I have one or two levels to beat before I beat the entire game. The level I’m on is s nightmare. I hear it’s much easier playing multiplayer because if one person dies, you don’t have to start from the beginning of the level.
New Super Mario Bros U/Super Luigi U:
I haven’t played it much. It’s ok. Trying to beat it 100% is proving to be difficult for me. I’m at the last boss in world 2. I’m stuck because it seems as though the game’s encouraging me to beat it with Mini Mario. So… it’s a bit frustrating.
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze:
Amazing game, although it sucks that two of the selectable players, (Cranky and Diddy), are useless compared to Dixy Kong. Beat it once I stopped trying to 100% it. It’s a VERY challenging game. Great music!
Nintendo Land:
Some of the games are fun, but ultimately not worth admission, even though I got it for free. That’s my humble opinion. I know some people love it.
Pikman 3:
Not my type of game, but I know a lot of people like it.
Mario Kart 8:
Perhaps the best Mario Kart game to date… aside from the crappy battle mode. I can’t wait for the new tracks!
Shovel Night:
So cool and I’m only on the second level! It’s VERY hard for me to beat the damn level I’m on without cheats, (which this game has plenty.) This is a game you should consider getting if you’re in the mood for retro style gaming. It’s so awesome.
GBA Super Mario Advanced:
Impulse buy. I love Super Mario Bros. 2, and consider it a TRUE Mario game. I hope we haven’t seen the last of Wart, since Birdo and Shy-Guys are part of Mario’s universe. I was hoping he was part of SM3DW since that game had some SMB2 influences.
GBA Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land:
Haven’t played it… also an impulse buy.
SNES Earthbound:
Haven’t played it, but can’t wait to.
Bayonetta 2:
Amazing game besides the goofy story, the over-the-top sexuality, and stereotype characters – Which is probably part of it’s appeal too. It’s just fun to play and really polished, plus it comes with the first Bayonetta.
I’m looking for more games to download, (not retail games of Nintendo made games, I want a cool indie game. Any suggestions?
People who have the means should really look into buying a Wii U. It’s not a joke anymore. It has some fantastic games!
