I can’t spell “fuchsia” or “fuschia” or “fucshia” or “fushcia”.
I can spell, but cannot type, Detriot. Uh, Detroit.

That does help. Cool. Thanks!
Believe always comes out as beleive, even though I know the correct spelling. I also ‘feel’ wrong when I spell/type words incorrectly, but that one slips under my radar.
My spelling is impeccable, but my typing is execrable (hey, a Noel Cowardesque rhyme!). This is not helped by the fact that half of the letters on my laptop keyboard have rubbed away, and two keys are missing entirely, so that m and g are typed on the little nodules underneath. Double letters also occasionally (there’s an example) trip me up sometimes when I’m tired. Or should that be ‘doble’ letters in America?
I was at my sister’s house recently and she asked me how to spell “maneuver.” I couldn’t for the life of me figure it out, so we had to turn her computer just to spell-check it.
Well, Cecil corrected my spelling of “weasle” in a columnhere
About 12 years ago, I wrote a report for an employer. He was happy with it but saw fit to point out a spelling error. I had spelled environment as I had always done as envirement. Was I ever embarassed, perhaps even depressed. Never again.
I don’t misspell many words, but when I do, they’re usually typos that are consistent. So I use the AutoCorrect and AutoFormat features to fix them for me. I’m smart and lazy.
Any alternative spellings (like cancelled) go into the spell-checker, as do common names.
Now punctuation is a whole 'nother story.

One way or another, I always spell incorrectly, well, incorrectly in one way or another.
I almost always spell (when typing) because as “becasue”, and relieved as “releived”. It drives me nuts, becasue I am conscious(sp??) of this problem, and yet continue to do it with alarming regularity… Which mean I have to go back and correct all instances of it…
