Lunch and dinner.
Hey, it’s got oatmeal in it.
I’ll eat anything for breakfast, generally. I like a full English on the week-end.
Thing is, I don’t like to eat much of anything until I’ve had my second cup of coffee and had a chance to work up an appetite.
I would not eat green eggs and ham.
Curry, especially Thai curry like pa naeng, is right up there with cold pizza as one of the best breakfast foods.
I am firmly opposed to eating human remains for breakfast.
Fried pork skins.
Cheetos
Fritos
Ice Cream
Unless I’ve been smoking certain herbs and I haven’t done that in thirty years.
Yup. Cannot stand that stuff. I joke with my wife that I’ll forgive her having an affair, but if she brings natto home then it’s all over.
I also can’t stand the traditional Japanese breakfast of rice, miso soup and dead, dried fish which you get at the inns. Unually this is after a night of drinking with your traveling companians, and it’s just not what I want to see. Don’t mind it for lunch or dinner, but not breakfast.
Anything cold. Breakfast must be hot, regardless of the season. I’ve tried the whole fruit-and-yogurt shake thing and I.can.not.do.it. Every now and then in the summer, a bowl of cornflakes or other not-sweet cereal with HOT coffee to drink, maybe.
My two most common breakfasts are whole-grain cinnamon toast (no raisins) with PB or PBJ, or whole-grain bread with a slice of cheese (and sometimes turkey or ham) melted on top (toaster oven). And coffee.
Right now, since I have a horrible, hunger-dampening cold, nothing.
