When someone you see everyday but are ambivalent towards says or does something that is so insensitive and shitty that it sends you flying into a horrible rage.
Should you: a) Confront the person immediately and try to clear the air, or b) start psychological warfare immediately and allow a festering emotional sore to develop, or c) in a display of pure compassion accept this persons emotional problems and try to forget about it?
change b to : Start psychological warfare and reduce the other person in a huddled mass of psychological problems so great they get post traumatic stress syndrome drinking water.
What is your ultimate goal? If it’s to repair the damage and clear the air, I would say (A). If however you need an enemy (we all do sometimes) then I would say (B). Or for shits and giggles why not try all three?
