What's for breakfast?

13:15, and I’ve just had an andouille sausage onna hot dog bun.

And coffee.

Toasted plain bagel.

Banana.

Orange juice.

Slice of leftover cold pizza (yum!).

Two slices home-made multigrain bread with a spread made of cut up lox mashed with fat-reduced cream cheese and washed down with two cups of decaf tea.

99-cent coffee and a apple fuckin’ frittah! from Cumby’s.

Tall glass of orange and tangerine juice, bowl of “Special Edition” (for Canada’s 150th) Maple Cheerios with Half ‘n’ Half.

Homemade version of a McDonald’s Egg McMuffin.

I wish I had that!

I had a hunk of warmed baguette, with margarine.

I’ve got two slices left. I’ll send 'em right over for your brekkies tomorrow a.m.

Bob’s Big Boy Breakfast Buffet.

Chorizo & Eggs, potatoes, machaca, sausage & peppers, sauteed mushrooms & onions, bacon, toast, biscuits & gravy, fruit, coffee.

BURP!

I can’t start my day without breakfast.

I’ll make toast & jelly even on a rushed morning. I prefer to have a bowl of cereal too.

This morning I used my Hamilton Beach breakfast sandwich maker. I cooked the bacon in the microwave. That’s 2 min 40 sec. Then used the HB to make a egg, cheese and bacon sandwich. The bacon is added after it comes out of the HB.

I’ve never gotten the sand maker to properly cook the bacon. It has to be done separately.

Weekends, usually cold cereal with milk and some yunnan tea. If I have fresh berries, I usually add them to the bowl and top with corn Chex. If I don’t have berries, I’ll eat grape nuts or alpen or wheat Chex.

Weekdays I usually have a croissant and a cup of coffee with cream.

It’s a weekend breakfast and I have more home-raised pork in the freezer than I know what to do with. I give away my excess eggs. Therefore, weekend breakfasts for the foreseeable future are:

Two freshly-laid eggs, bacon, and toast from bread I made yesterday topped with blackberry jam I canned last fall. All washed down with coffee and milk.

When I’m lucky enough to have leftover baguette, I split it and warm it and spread it with Kerrygold butter and blackberry (or raspberry) preserves. With hot milky coffee, it’s Paris Breakfast!

I have one of those Hamilton Beach thingies, too. Try this: get two small frozen waffles, trim the edge of one (still frozen) to fit the round cooking compartment, and use the trimmed part as a “curb” on top of the now-trimmed waffle (around the outside edge, lining the compartment). It makes a dam and helps contain the egg, cheese, etc. Top with second trimmed (or not, if you can make it fit) waffle.

You’re right, the bacon has to be cooked separately,

Six days a week (Sunday - Friday) - Tea, cereal and yogurt. Then coffee

Saturday: Coffee.

I’ll get waffles next time we’re at the store. Sounds like a delicious meal.

Coffee awhile ago and I just finished a smoothie. It tasted like an orange creamsicle, yum!

For us Americans, it’s NOT soft boiled eggs!

Today I had a bagel and cream cheese, and a banana. Coffee , of course, but that’s every day (or sometimes tea).
