What's good to watch on Amazon Prime video?

I just started my free 30-day trial of Amazon Prime. I don’t plan to renew, but I’d obviously like to watch as much as I can before my trial expires. What are the best things to watch?

Right now, I got three series on my watch list:

Ronja, The Robber’s Daughter: Studio Ghibli’s first televisions series and one of the few things by them I haven’t seen
The Man in The High Castle

Breaking Bad

Every episode of Frasier and Inspector Morse is free.

The Expanse
The Tick

That’s what I was going to say. Those plus Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Also Forever. And Spaced and Dead Like Me.

High Castle is overrated IMO.

I feel Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams is underrated. It’s very good sci-fi.

Marvelous Mrs Maisel
(If you like comedy. If you don’t, probably not your style)

Bosch, Homecoming, The Night Manager

Being Erica
Downton Abbey
A Gifted Man
The Durrells in Corfu
One Mississipi
Dead Like Me
The Newsroom
Mr Selfridge

The entire run of Dark Shadows is available.

Sneaky Pete
Penn & Teller: Bullshit!
A Bit of Fry & Laurie

Some of the nature-related 4K content is amazing. I’m a sucker for that kind of programming in general, Blue Planet, Smithsonian, &c.

Some of my favorites:

Rifftrax movies; if you like Mystery Science Theater 3000, Rifftrax is Mike and the bot voices with no skits, just pure movie and riffs.
The Indiana Jones movies
The Expanse
Top Gear
Spongebob Squarepants (don’t judge me)
American Pickers
Curb Your Enthusiasm
Dukes of Hazzard

For Amazon originals, I recommend Sneaky Pete, Hand of God and Electric Dreams. Not sure how much you can get through in 30 days. Good luck.

High Castle: Season one is great, 2 not so much and 3 wasn’t even good.

But Marvelous Mrs. Maisel was outstanding and The Tick was a lot of fun.

I’ve been bringing The Americans from season one.

Both are great.

It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World
Jim Gaffigan: Noble Ape
The Kids Are Alright (The Who)
Galaxy Quest

Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In
Pretty much anything with “Star Trek” in the title (including the animated series and two of the new movies), except for Star Trek Into Darkness and the new series on CBS All Access

If you’ve got any interest in Doctor Who, Amazon Prime is the only place you’ll see the new series in the USA. They also have classic game shows and they have the James Bond movies this month
