I’ve asked several members of the medical community what they mean on ER when they say someone had an “LOL” & cannot get an answer. Obviously “LOC” is a loss of consciousness. Can anyone clarify? I suspect they’re just making things up.
I’d get suspicious if they also refer to someone having a “ROFL” or a “STFU”. Could be script kiddies.

Lucidity ofcourse. English is my second language and Mirriam Websters mentioned “lucidness” but not “lucidity”. “Lucidity” was the word i was looking for though.
Can’t be loss of life, as it’s used to describe some poor slob being wheeled in for treatment. Loss of lucidity makes sense, perhaps that’s it. But now you guys have got me more confused than ever -
