What's the last toy you bought for yourself?

A new radio.

I bought Arkham Horror two weeks ago. Actual hardcopy table game. Assuming that counts.

A four-inch blade electric fabric cutter. Basically a saw for fabric. And I still have 10 fingers!

Kindle Paperwhite. LOVE!

A Bluetooth speaker - I love it because it has turned my tablet into my internet radio.

This shoulder plane.

a usb pet rock.

Let’s just say it wasn’t sold at Toys R Us.

Bass guitar and amp in my friendly neighbourhood pawn store.

Does it rhyme with “hibachi”? :dubious:

2 really nice Le Crueset pans, on sale at the new T.J. Maxx that just opened in my town. I hate shopping, and only went there because I have absolutely no decent clothing. I ended up with no clothing, but 2 lovely, precious pans - a dutch oven, and a braiser. Nobody told me T.J. Maxx had a kitchen department. I’m going to have to go “clothes shopping” more often.

And no, haven’t bought any clothing since that shopping day. I’ve found I need 3 dutch ovens and 2 really nice braising pans, but one pair of jeans is more than enough.

No, but it rhymes with “chilver pullet”.

Tetris Lamp.I actually bought it last summer on pre-order but it didn’t come until after the new year. Pretty neat, tho!

I got myself a flashlight.
Tiny, 200 lumens, rechargeable flashlight.

I picked up an iPod Shuffle today. It plays the tracks in the order opposite to that in the playlist I’ve synched it from, which is apparently a long-standing bug in some iPods that Apple has never fixed. Apple’s advice is to manage the iPod manually. First piece of Apple hardware I’ve ever bought, and the damn thing has a stupid bug.

Before that, just after Christmas, I found and bought this: a Dali-type melted clock that is an actual functioning clock.

Lego Medieval Market Village.

It has cows!

a new, erm, glass water smoking apparatus.

A roll up keyboard.

Me and the kid SQUEEEE’d over the Tetris Lamp.

Enjoy the bong, bub. I got a small keyboard from Toys R Us but now I want a Dali clock.

A new 5000lb winch for my truck. With sales and coupons I managed to get $50.00 off the retail price.

It will cause some curiosity amongst the bubbas, as I am mounting it on the frame of my 5th wheel hitch (in the bed of the truck). I bought a bigger boat last summer, and I need this to pull it onto the trailer.
