probably been done but I am currious what the thread with the most replies is, both here and on any boards you all may visit

over 10000 replies, the views have been reset a few times so its hard to say how high they would be at.

There is a thread at a board on AOL that has had over 70,000 posts, though it kept getting cropped by AOL. I think the board might actually be gone now, too.

I’m interested in this too. Any of the mods know what the longest SDMB thread was? (And though I recall at least one “let’s create the longest thread ever!”, I think they should be disqualified.).

VVC got so big that the software had problems with it.

IIRC, Guy Stuff was the longest with The Last Word coming in a close second.

Naw, Threadkillers blew Last Word away. Though it still lost out to Guy Stuff by about 10 posts or so in the end.

the name has little to do with anything other than my mood around the time I chose it, I was dealing with retards at work and working ot to boot, kinda puts you off after a few months of that kind of stuff.

Me, personally, I think the longest would have to be one of the “Bob gives out free xxxxx(sig lines, titles, horoscopes!”

Those always go totally out of hand… hehehehe
