What's the lowest rated movie in your Netflix queue?

OK, fess up. You know you have some movies on your list that you’re not proud of. The ones you KNOW are bad, but you just have to see anyway. And Netflix is the perfect way to see them.

So…what’s the worst movie in your queue? Mine is the Dukes of Hazzard, with just under two stars. I LOVED that show when I was younger, so I have to see the movie version too!

This would likely get better responses where the movie buffs hang out.

Moved from IMHO to CS.

Well, we use Quickflix here in Aus, and presently our stinker is the classic ‘Contamination’ http://www.quickflix.com.au/public/tools/viewmovie/Contamination/25495.aspx with a meagre 2 stars.

That said, we’ve previously rented those Uwe Boll classics ‘Alone in the Dark’ and ‘House of the Dead’, which managed to be both terribly awful and terribly amusing.

Team America: World Police at 2.5 stars. Next looks like The Fog at just shy of 3 stars.

Bacon Head is coming in at about 1.5 stars, and Insignificant Other looks like about 1.75 stars or so…

At 1.75 stars, Devil’s Filmmaker: Bohica. I had to dig into my personal queue - and as an aside I love that you can have more than one queue from the same account - because most of the stuff on the household queue is series discs without ratings.

Right now, it’s Plan 9 from Outer Space with 2.5 stars. The lowest-rated movie that’s ever been in my queue is Teenage Catgirls in Heat, with a whopping 1.9 stars.

*A Day without a Mexican. * Seems few liked it (it’s trying to be a comedy), but the theme interests me too much to not have it on the list.

House of the Dead at one and a quarter stars. I have to see it for myself.

Ray Dennis Steckler’s Blood Shack, at 2 stars. There’s a “very long wait” note on it, though, so I don’t know when I’ll get to see it.

Vincent Gallo’s ‘The Brown Bunny’ at 1.5 Stars.

Aren’t the displayed star-ratings adjusted by your rating history? I seem to recall that.

Gojitmal aka “Lies”

1.5 stars

Sometimes they will sometimes show a separate figure for “people who rate like you”. How many people, and how similar they have to be to count as aenough, I don’t know. Going by that number, I’d have to change my answer to V I Warshawski (2.6 overall, but 1.5 for people who rate like me). I don’t care; I like Kathleen Turner.

The Singing Detective. Not the series, (although that is right below it), the movie.

Susan

The lowest rating in our Q is Mister Peepers: Disc 1 given 1.75 stars.
I’m just curious about this old show that my parents generation use to talk about.

Bewitched (movie, not TV) at 3 stars.

Zev Steinhardt

I’ve got 3 things with 2 star ratings:

Twilight
Last Tango in Paris
Boys

Hah, I’ve got you all beat.

Godzilla (1998)- 1 star

We’re generally not too picky about sci-fi movies at my house; it couldn’t be that bad, right? Right?

Next lowest is The Crow: Wicked Prayer at 1.5 stars, which I expect is that bad but I’m a glutton for punishment.

No, 1 star is generous for **that ** Godzilla. None of the campy charm of any of the Japanese versions.

Surprisingly I have nothing under 3 stars. I do have Fantastic Four which is at 3.5 stars. From all the reviews it should be a lot lower.
