What's the most interesting car you saw today?

I’m not positive, but I think it was a Rolls Royce Wraith. It looked a lot like this, only in a rose and silver two tone:

I wasn’t crazy about the body style. I thought it looked a lot like an old lead sled.

A very nice dark blue Mark IV Triumph Spitfire. I used to own a 1966 Mk II many years ago: I like the rounded tails of the earlier Spits better than the squared off 70s look of the one I saw today, but still a pretty little car.

I probably posted this 3,000 responses ago, but I ran into this dude again (not literally, no tire tracks or lawsuits involved).

My '02 530i BMW runs really well, but the previous owner(s) beat the helll out of her exterior and interior. The guy I just met again in a store parking lot was a BMW designer in Munich and has a twin car but it’s jaw-droppingly pristine - as in showroom condition. I have much, much lust in my heart.

I was at a light next to a Porsche hybrid. I had no idea these even existed.

I don’t like the i8’s appearance, but I bet it’s a killer ride – as any $145k car should be!

I saw two Maserati sedans in the 'hood. For some reason, the styling doesn’t appeal much to me.

I saw a black BMW i8, and it’s complete counterpart, a pre-1980 Caprice Classic, similar to one I owned back in the day.

I saw three Teslas yesterday. Or a Tesla X, an S, and an unmarked car that was either a Tesla or a Toyota, possibly doing winter testing. The car had Tesla styling clues but was being closely followed by a Toyota. Late winter can be fun for spotting new models in northern MN due to the tricky driving conditions we offer.

I saw a BMW i8 that had a copper paint job at lunch earlier. Neat paint, it was reflective like chrome but with a copper colour. Somethinglike this.

(BTW, I don’t think counterpart means what you think it does :p)

I’ve seen a few cars with reflective surface paint - what happens when they catch the sun? Seems like it would be easy to blind other drivers.

A VW Atlas. I’ve probably been in the presence of one before, but never noticed the name plate. It’s new as of 2017, not that impressive in person.

An Alfa Romeo Stelvio, small but sleek looking SUV.

Third post in a row. There was a Lotus Elise parked in the visitors spots at work.

Today was a good day… saw a Tesla model X in the wild (had only seen ones on display before). Honestly though it looks pretty average when the gull wing doors aren’t open for display.

The real winner though was when we went for lunch and parked next to a Mercedes AMG GT. All black… it was a beautiful car.

I only got a quick look in traffic, but I saw a gold-plated older model Camaro! Not gold painted, but full-on shiny gold metal ( I assume it is some kind of vinyl wrap). Very striking appearance.

Genesis G80 3.8L AWD. First time I’ve seen one in person. Meh.

A mid-60s Continental Convertible in Campbell yesterday afternoon.

1966 Cadillac Coupe deVille driving down the highway during morning rush hour. It had been left out in yesterday’s snowfall but other than the icicles, it looked pretty cherry to me.

Shiny cherry red Alfa Romeo 4C. Damn, that’s a sexy car close up.

A c1938 Chevy pickup. Over-restored. E.g., metal flake green paint and a bunch of other non-original mods.

A clean 1965 Studebaker Daytona
