Ha! Edmonton already got snow because I’ve seen pics. I know Castrol Raceway is done for the season. I wonder if that was a friend’s Corvette. He left it out late. We do that here too. Gotta take advantage of snowless roads when we can. Enjoy it Swampspruce.
I got to drive a friend’s Porsche 998. Just wow! It’s a good thing it was just a trip around the neighborhood because I have a lead foot.
I found the green electric car from a few days ago. It’s a CommutaCar version of the Citicar, a 1970’s early EV. I found pictures online of the exact car I spotted (the license plates match) but they won’t post correctly. What an odd little (very little) car. But perfectly at home in my hipster town.
Yesterday afternoon I saw a car that I had never seen before. The grill logo was a lion. I thought it was a Peugeot, which would be incredibly strange since as far as I know, Peugeots are unavailable in the US.
After looking it up online, I’m pretty sure it was a Holden Commodore.
I don’t know how or why someone shipped a Holden Commodore to rural Alabama, but there it was.
A 1973 or so International Travelall, on a trailer if that makes any difference.
An orange Chevy Avalanche with a dealer sticker from Arizona.
Also a regular old Foton Supporter.

This probably doesn’t count, as I didn’t actually see it on the road, but rather in the series The Man in the High Castle: A beautiful Kaiser Darrin.
Peugeot is planning to come back to the U.S. and a couple of recent models have been spotted by a well-versed friend in CA and NV. Who knows? Maybe they are casing the country.
Could it have been a Buick Regal with a badge-swap? That’s what the platform is called in the US. A real Commodore would be RHD…
A small percentage of drivers like swapping parts to make their cars look European. The Saturn Sky was sometimes re-badged as Vauxhall Lightning, and the Dodge Dart can be redone as a Fiat pretty easily.
A Mazda Cosmo
Short enough for reduced fare on WA State Ferries.
Really? I didn’t know that.
(But I don’t use the ferries because I don’t know what there is to do on the islands. Might though, if we ever go to the peninsula.)
Anything under 14’ - they measure then you get a little green sticker on the windscreen.
An Avanti II, in white.
In Los Gatos, a nice 1958(?) Ford Ranchero
I saw a car (don’t as me what model) that was covered all over in random stickers. Everywhere but the lights and windows.
A couple of weeks ago, I saw a cream and red 1936 Ford delivery sedan. Managed to get 3 pictures before they drove off. This album *should *be public.
Well, I already posted about it. Steel-trap memory, that’s me.
But this time, pictures!
A rare RAV4 — a 1st-gen 3-door soft top convertible.
There’s a second one, just down the street from the first. Although this one has the battery bumper extensions. I wonder if someone just loves these or needed a parts car?
