Yesterday I saw a 1976-ish Plymouth Road Runner. Most of that style and year were reddish-orange but this one was blue. This was long after the heyday of “real” Road Runners. It was a beefed up Volare with heavier duty suspension and a 360 V8. The one I saw looked like an original in good shape but the paint and striping were weathered and faded. Probably a barn find.
I used to spend a lot of time in South Bend IN and saw many, many Avantis and Studebakers up there. The Avanti is a very unique looking vehicle and I was always “kinda-like, kinda hate.” Be cool to have one though.
Today, at the aviation museum where I volunteer on weekends, a '60 Lincoln Continental convertible, deep red inside and out.
Oh, and I fell and fractured a wrist while trying to take a photo of the damn thing.
Perhaps more relevant, my maternal Grandmother had one of these cars, in the hardtop version.
Porsche 991 Targa.
Today I saw what was probably a Willys bus similar to this, though there were a few minor differences. The one I saw was a solid olive drab and I only got one quick, blurry picture of it as it passed us. I hope the owner lives nearby because I go through that neighborhood pretty often. Sure would like to get a better look at it.
Very nice '69 Olds 442 convertible. Black on black on black.
A Kia Stinger, tricked out every which way from Sunday. Apparently the car has been around for two years but I’ve never noticed one until now.
Yesterday on the commute home: Maserati Ghibli.
I see one every day. Neighbor has one.

I only see them occasionally.
Good question, I suppose it’s possible.
The windows were tinted, and I was too intrigued by the badging that I truthfully didn’t even notice which side the driver was on.
Only interesting because I saw three Tesla cars on one commute home from work. That quantity is a little unusual in the Twin Cities. At least, when talking Tesla it is.
A drive-in visitor at the museum where I volunteer, a '57 Chevy…ambulance.
I saw a Volvo P.1800 sitting in a lot with some crashed cars. It looked undamaged and intact, though its red paint was very oxidised.
A 1962-63 Sunbeam Alpine, parked about a block away.
Speaking of this, I just heard today that Irv Gordon had died. He’s famous for having a one-owner P1800 with over 3 million miles on it.
A rust bucket Datsun 240Z, I wonder if someone is using it for a winter car.
It wasn’t today, but two weeks ago, I’m driving down Rt 6, and a Delorian passed me.
No, it didn’t have a Mr. Fusion Home Energy Device on the back.
1st-gen Mazda RX-7. Quite uncommon these days.
