What's the most interesting car you saw today?

Saw a first generation Ford Mustang in dark green. Didn’t look like a restored show car, more like a well cared for daily driver. Must be getting ready to put it away for the winter this week.

A red Ford LTD II at Home Depot!
Not this one, but similar. I like them!

I saw a car that was in the shape of a giant green Snork go by a restaurant as I was dining at…and I don’t recall there being any parades in town today.

1965 Ford Falcon sedan, powder blue, today in Mountain View, CA. Running well, sounded good, and looked pretty good and clean, too.

I saw a red, '76 Chevette the other day in the grocery store parking lot. It didnt look real compared to the cars surrounding it.

I still remember the commercial for the Chevette’s big unveiling in the mid-1970s, withe the jingle:

*Chevy Chevette, it’ll drive you happy
Chevy Chevette, it’ll drive you happy
*

It’s now an earworm I can’t shake. Thanks, Ambivalid. :smack:

Chevy Citation. I understand they even have a club.

1964 Pontiac Tempest.

Saw a Tesla S in motion. Saw a Lancia sitting in a driveway, but don’t know the model.

When I was shopping for my first car I considered a 1979 Lancia Zagato (pics: lancia zagato 1979 - Google Search).

What I got instead was a 1979 Fiat X1/9 - now that was a fun car!

And while we’re on the subject of screaming metal death traps, just saw a nicely maintained 1975 Triumph Spitfire in British racing green.

Such great lines but I would never dare drive it in commuter traffic unless I had a death wish.

Very cool. I didn’t have my glasses on, but it looked like it said “Supra” on the front emblem. But that’s a Toyota brand. Hell, maybe it was a Toyota; like I said: no glasses.

MGB in a parking garage in Harvard Square

Well, there’s passive safety, and then there’s active safety: nimble and maneuverable enough to avoid the accidents. Then again, I ride motorcycles. Not much passive safety there.

Fiat 500 Abarth…

Were two youts driving it at the time?

Winter here so all the pretty cars are asleep. All I’m seeing right now are lots and lots of rig rockets

Some with Lincoln welders in the back, some not.

“Oh yeah, you blend.”

The weather here has been pretty good the last few days, which is probably why the owner brought out his car: a Triumph TR3. I can’t recall when’s the last time I saw one of those.

I’m gonna cheat, and mention 2 cars I saw on Jay Leno’s Garage. I want one of these so bad!

I’m in San Francisco for the holidays, so i see a Tesla about every ten minutes.

Saw a Ferrari F430 Scuderia, with red body and black bonnet and trim, downtown yesterday afternoon, battling the Christmas traffic. The car stopped right in front of me and my wife as we were about to cross the street, and the driver’s side window was open. The driver was almost a parody of a Ferrari owner, with slicked-back hair, wearing Ferrari sunglasses and a Ferrari jacket. It was hilarious.
