What's the most interesting car you saw today?

And you’ll post your impressions here, I hope. Interesting vehicle. I wonder how it would do in our snowy winters.

I quite agree. I’d love to have one.

Will do.

When Mustangs were real. 1965.

.

A bright yellow Corvette C6.

Guess who’s back? That’s right, Pepto Wideeyed-Longfenders! Parked in exactly the same way, I saw it yesterday and again today. It was parked there for over a month in August.

Hey, the car blog Curbside Classic used my Chrysler photo (I had added it to their Flickr group).

Very cool @WildaBeast !

A Volvo 122; a 1966 I believe. A pretty nice one.

I was startled by a boat bodied automobile. Not a sleek vintage boat tailed speedster, but a car with a boat hull for a body. It didn’t look like a roadable boat. It was a car with a deck at the windshield level and open cockpit seating. Looked expensive and professional, like a classic Chris-Craft with wheels.

That leaves out this Fiat.

Yeah, and it’s odd somebody could drive a thing like that on the street - lights, license, visibility and such.

I drove down to the Bay Area today. On the freeway I passed either an AMC Javelin or AMX. I’m not sure how to visually differentiate the two without seeing the badges.

I was passed by a Lambo Urus the other day. It was… underwhelming. I saw it approaching in the mirror, wondered what brand this Japanese/Korean crossover was, as I didn’t recognize it. When reading the back my thought was; Huh? A McLaren, a Ferrari or an ordinary Lambo has this presence on the road. Not this.

I spent the day in San Francisco today, which seems to be a hotbed of interesting cars. In a one single block of the North Beach neighborhood I saw:

An old Renault. Looking at Wikipedia I think it was a Renault 16. Unfortunately it drove by before I could pull out my phone.

But then this classic Rolls drove by just a few cars behind it.

And this hippie bus was parked in the same block.

And then walking back up the same block a little while later I saw a Polestar 2, I think the first one I’ve seen in person.

Some fancy Bimmer EV in the gym parking lot:

My Bronco is in the background.

Now I’m interested in what that model is. It looks like a modified i4, perhaps.

But nope, that’s not right either. Hmm.

I took a photo from the back, but didn’t post it. It says “i8."

Thanks, the front end doesn’t completely match anything on the website.

Looks the same to me. (From Edmunds.com.)
