I don’t want to think about the cost of new tires for that thing.
I saw something that looked like a miniature, slightly misshapen, Miata. Right-hand drive. No idea what it was.
I spotted a loooong 10-passenger stretch limousine, a black Lincoln Town Car convserion. Not too unusual but this one had private vehicle license plates instead of livery you’d see on far more common for-hire cars.
Sounds like a Japanese kei sports car someone imported to the US. Maybe a Honda Beat or Suzuki Cappuccino?
I think it may have been the Suzuki.
Or possibly an Autozam AZ-1 - Autozam AZ-1 - Wikipedia
Similar look, the the top and rear window looked more like the Suzuki.
Earlier this morning, 7am, while driving my niece to SFO airport on highway US-101 we passed at least 30 cars with flat tires. At first we thought some truck dropped a box of nails, but later on new radio it turned out to be bad potholes caused by the heavy rains.
At 0845 I doubled back to shoot these pictures. Several cars were still there and the CHP blocked off the two median lanes where water had collected and caused the potholes.
A 7th generation (1973-91) Chevy Suburban, but this must be after 1987 since it has a “Fuel Injection” badge. Pretty good shape for a vehicle of that era on salty New England roads.
These were actually yesterday at the “Concours d’Elegance”
There were many, many beautiful cars there.
I love that Brewster grille. I’m envious.
What’s the first one?
Alfa Romeo BAT5
Very cool. I don’t remember ever hearing about it before. I think I like it better in black, as in your link.
There was a first generation VW GTI parked on the street when I was leaving to pick up my lunch order today. I was thinking I’d take some pictures of it when I got back. Then on my way back when I got a few blocks from home I saw it driving down the street. I guess I should have taken the pictures when I had the chance.
I saw a Lucid Air on the drive home from the ski area today. Never seen one before.
Saw a what I believe was a Chevrolet Aveo in what my brain saw as an absolutely stunning turquoise. After googling, Chevrolet calls it aqua. Very unique car color.
