Another Rivian R1T. They’re starting to be common. Almost every week.
I also saw their SUV, the R1S. But I didn’t have my camera ready for that one. I think I’ve only ever seen no more than five R1Ss, ever.

I was at a stoplight next to a 2nd gen (1993-97) Ford Probe this morning and, looking past the rusty areas, I found myself admiring its lines. If it were lowered a bit and had some lower profile tires installed, it could be a pretty cool & seldom seen car. Two door liftback and in the blue below, though the one I saw was an SE and I didn’t notice a (huge) rear wiper.

Heck yes. Even I saw a Rivian R1T yesterday and all I did was go pick up a pizza.
A Genesis GV80, the luxury SUV from Hyundai’s luxury division, Genesis. The cars from South Korea are getting better and better, much better than the 1986 Hyundai Excel which itself was a pretty good car.
I saw a Polestar the other day. I didn’t know that’s what it was but I noted the logo on the back of the car and looked it up when I got back to my computer.
I saw my first R1S today as well, unimpressed by the styling of the back.
And then there’s the styling of the front to deal with, too.
I actually like the front end styling; it’s not exactly my cup of tea but it’s different and distinctive. The rear end styling of the SUV is boring and mundane.
Now that you mention it, yeah that rear end is nothing to write home about.
I’ve seen a few R1Ss, maybe about 5-6. I found pictures in my album for two of them. I’m certain I’ve shared these here before but here they are again. One has a camouflage to it, presumably to hide its lines a little.
Triple black fourth generation Porsche Boxster today. At least I’m pretty sure that’s what it was; wasn’t sure it was even a Porsche until I could make out the black-on-black nameplate.
A Lincoln Mark LT, I did not realize Lincoln made a pickup truck.
For 10 model years (2005-2014). The first 4 years of that were sold in the US, the last 6 years it was only sold in Mexico.
In my neighborhood, about a mile from my house… a 1954 Jaguar XK120 Roadster — beautiful!
The XK120 was manufactured from 1948 to 1954. The “120” in the name referred to the car’s 120 mph top speed. It was the world’s fastest production car when it was launched.
It has a straight six engine, an engine with perfect primary and secondary engine balance, resulting in fewer vibrations than other designs of six or fewer cylinders.
and the part between the front and the back
The Mark LT was actually their second attempt to make a pickup. The first was the Lincoln Blackwood, a truck that if sold today would fly off the lot.
My neighbor had his 1955 Chrysler 300 out of the garage again. I didn’t bother taking a picture because the scene looked pretty much identical to when I photographed it last fall:
Is that all? That’s not much.
Here is a nice Triumph TR4a
The Triumph TR4A was built from 1965 to 1967. It was replaced by the Triumph TR5 (1967-1968), and then the Triumph TR6 (1968-1976).
From 1975-1981 the Triumph TR7 was billed as “the shape of things to come”. And then the Triumph TR8 was sold from 1978-1981. The TR7 and TR8 had similar body styles. They both shared the wedge design.
1969 Dodge Coronet Super Bee Ramcharger
The owner has had it for only three months and plans to keep it forever and then hand it down to his kids. His oldest kid is 12 now.
