What's the most interesting car you saw today?

Saw a very clean 1979 Triumph TR7 Friday. I immediately assumed it was a Bertone or Giugiaro design but no, it was in-house.

Yesterday I saw a car painted up like Lightning McQueen, AND the big Weinermobile! The Weinermobile was celebrating the opening of a new Dollar General, and Mr McQueen was right next door getting breakfast at Ray and Charles deli (no relation).

Before 9am, but it’s unlikely something I see later will be more interesting than the Ferrari 328 (probably, possibly a 308) I saw this morning. No picture, but you all know what it looks like.

I saw a Porsche at a charging station this morning in a Meijer parking lot. Nothing overly special or interesting about the car, I just didn’t realize they had an EV.
Looking at their website, it would have been a Taycan I saw, which range in price from $90,000-$230,000.

I just saw a 1957 Chevrolet belair 2dr HT fuel injected 283, jet black. Gorgeous!

And I saw a 1957 T-bird last night!

.

Like this, but with an elderly guy driving next to us, east on Bluemound Road near the Brewers stadium. We had a leisurely dinner, and as we drove home, there was the same '57 T-bird with the elderly guy driving next to us, west on Bluemound Road… “I wonder if he followed us to the restaurant. Did you see him eating near us?”

We down the beach to Beach Cat Brewing for a pint, and the Porsche 914 with the Chalon body kit that I saw yesterday was across the street.

There’s a car show down the beach, so there were lots of nice cars. We didn’t go, but we saw a bunch of them as we slowly drove by each way.

“Sounds” like not far from Waukesha.

We saw a Rivian yesterday, along I-70 in PA or MD.

No Cybertruck though. I feel robbed.

I just saw my first one a few days ago as well. And like someone upthread mentioned, it was the headlights that got my attention.

I’m curious if that center bar can be turned off. I haven’t driven with one behind me, but it looks like it’d be hella annoying in your rear view mirror.

Lotus Elise. Now, okay, I see them fairly regularly in summer but this one was parked in the Fleet Farm lot. That’s one well-to-do farmer.

Ya know when someone has a pickup truck with a trailer, but the trailer is just the bed of another pick up truck. That, but with a jeep.

I know it’s a lot of pictures, but I was too close to get a decent picture. With the matching colors/shapes, it took my brain a minute to figure out what I was looking at as I rolled past it.
My gut said this thing was entirely fabricated, not purchased. The “Built Not Bought” plaque on the back confirms it.

And a Pacer.

(That’s some lens flare or a glare off my window. He doesn’t have a streetlight hanging out of this driver side door)

A long, long time ago I spotted a DeLorean group meeting with all their cars parked on a street where I used to live. One of the owners had a trailer made out of a wrecked DeLorean. This isn’t my photo but it looked very similar to this. Since my sighting was in Washington state, it very well could be this one.

Notice the trailer license plate: DE TAIL

I’m surprised they managed to find a second one. Aren’t those pretty rare? Though, I suppose, being in a DeLorean group probably makes it easier.

ETA, I was curious about the plate on the ‘tractor’. It’s OBSESSD. That tracks.

Also, I found a yellow one.
The plate is GULLWNG

And whatever this is:

This one is borrowed, the owner’s car is in the matching blue

I saw what I believe to be a Dusenberg bobtail yesterday, twice, driving around town

They can use that when they go shopping, so they have space for a second grocery bag.

I’ve been informed that my dad just bought a 1933 Ford Coupe (the ZZ Top Eliminator car). If so I’ll post pics here by and by.

Now he needs a keychain to go with it!

On my walk last night I finally got a really good look at the 1957 Chevy Bel Air that lives down the street. The blower appears to be a BDS; can anyone identify the motor? Spare but pleasing interior.

Also in the driveway was a 1932 Ford Convertible hot rod, the Duke of Pearl.

I found a listing for the car, looks like it was just purchased and brought here.
