He thought you were from the health department.
Actually, come to think of it, there have been some issues in the Houston area with vehicle-based food vendors whose vehicles are not actually mobile. Different tax rates or something. Doesn’t matter, though.
heh. My brother in law has one, I see it all the time. He and my sister love it
We had a mat black Mercedes SLR McLaren in for service.
I am not a fan of mat paint but I swear this car looks like what Bruce Wayne drives when the batmobile is in the shop.
He’s got a 10/20? Awesome! That’s from 1923 for the uninitiated. That is a seriously nice acquisition. I have several British cars, but my oldest is a 1935 MG PB.
Please snap a picture for us; that thing is history!
Oooh, I saw the car of my dreams today. A very sweet little Karmann Ghia tootling alongside me on the highway. Nearly wet my pants with envy!
Last week I saw two Chevy Orlandos in the parking lot at No Frills. I wanted to find someone named Dawn and take their picture next to the cars.
They’re a bit saggy and pendulous for my tastes.
I didn’t get out much today, but saw a nice early 80’s Toyota Land Cruiser in great condition.
I saw a Tesla Model S turning the corner at Queen and Spadina in downtown Toronto today.
Not a car, but a car ***pulling a sea plane *** on a small flatbed trailer drove past me this afternoon. The wings had been removed and were strapped to the sides.
I was surprised how small it was without the wings. I see them taking off and landing on our lake all the time, but had never seen a disassembled one on the road before.
Nothing today oddly a dirt bike count? one time i saw a Lambo Diablo parked outside a diamond store, in freaking pennsylvainia
As i said upthread, lots of lovely old American cars in Southern California.
Today, i saw a second-generation Ford Thunderbird outside my place. Just like this one, same color and all.
Today I saw a 1956 Morris Minor (I assume this because the license plate read 56MORRIS) chuntering along Interstate 69 at about 55 mph. It was in lovely shape and I pegged it immediately as a British car.
I live near the birthplace of General Motors (Flint, MI) and in nice weather it’s not uncommon to see vintage GM cars being sedately motored hither and yon. Unusual to see an old English car, though.
I saw a beautifully restored (or maintained) Smokey And The Bandit style Trans Am.
Black and gold.
Do trucks count? I saw a 1940-something truck today. I regularly see trucks that are from the 60s and 70s, but I’ve never seen one that old out on the road. Otherwise I don’t see many interesting vehicles.
We saw a large black SUV with Lamborghini scissor doors.
A friend of mine moved there for a few years and was amazed by this. He said everything that had rusted to nothing here in the Midwest was still puttering along on SoCal.
And Texas. I grew up in Sweden and developed a hatred of the Volvo 240. Luckily they all rotted away in the 90’s. Then I moved to Texas and I keep seeing a few on the road here. Since they used the mechanicals of a tractor their only weakness is rust.
As for exotics, north Texas is flooded with them. Astons, Lambos, Ford GTs, Ferraris, classics, it’s all here. I drive a Tesla and usually see a couple more every time I’m out.
