What's the most interesting car you saw today?

It looks like a catfish to me.

No interesting cars for me. It’s still winter here. The Auto Show is coming up though.

I wonder if they were about to chase Penelope Pitstop?

Another in a series of White Maserati Ghibli G4s, this one parked at a gaming store with a basement room full of gamers sitting at folding tables playing Settlers of Catan.

Not together, but apart by many miles and hours, today:

A 1971 Ford Mustang Grande

A 1962 Chevrolet Biscayne 4-door sedan.

I saw a brand new Nissan GT-R. That is one sharp car.

Buick Reatta, circa 1995.

An early 60’s Amphibicar. Brought back fond memories when we lived on a lake near a fellow who sold cars. Occasionally, he’d take a prospective customer out for a cruise.

Porsche 944

Suzuki Equator pick up truck, I had to look up what it was.

Interesting to learn there is such a beast. I might nickname it the Suzuki Taco. Check out these images, they look very similar:

But Suzuki owners might instead want to nickname it the Suzie-Q (for Suz EQ)…?

Funny thing is the Equator is based off the Nissan Frontier, but it does look like a Taco.

A 1960 Mercury Comet, similar to this photo.

Nice. I spotted one last month, white just like in your picture.

An Oldsmobile Jetstar 88, 1964-5. Another model I’d never heard of.

Yesterday afternoon I was behind a Mercedes GTS AMG. Suh-weet!

Today I saw a purple Olds sedan. Why the eff would you repaint your car in a high-gloss Barney color?

I saw one of most coolest (to me) rigs I have ever seen - I’m pretty sure this is the first time I’ve ever seen one. It was parked in someone’s driveway, the sun was setting and I pulled over, parked, and rang the doorbell to talk to the owner.

A 1989 VW Vanagon Transporter Syncro Tri-Star, a TDI conversion. Left-hand drive. Like this

The owner has had it about 4 months and he said that with the TDI, it really moved.

Compared to a regular Vanagon Syncro this one was a little more lifted and had slightly oversized tires.

It was way cool. I drooled. I think I want one!
ETA: goWesty.com, a notable Vanagon modifier in California has one for sale, a 1991. It too is a TDI so maybe they came with the TDI.

Only $57,500 for a 25 year old rig.

Today I also saw, earlier, before the Transporter double cab in post #936, a 1969 VW Microbus Westfalia, green with white top, very clean and running well. Although its exhaust had me gasping a little.

Ferrari 458, red with red brake calipers. Sitting at a light perpendicular to my direction of travel.

Two older station wagons, a 1971 Ford Country Squire, and a 1980 Datsun Maxima.

A small red Fiat 500 driven by a large man. Those things are serious tiny: the modern ones are pretty little cars that catch the styling of the old ones much better than the reworked Minis did, but they’re but they’re behemoths next to the originals.
