What's the most interesting car you saw today?

Saw a dude get hit in the head by a missile. Right in the head. The missile was a dud, but of course it still killed him.

Shit, that’s one helluva car! Poor dude, I hope he wasn’t a friendly…

Fascinating story on Jalopnik showing the correspondence involved in buying a Mercedes 300SL Roadster back in the 1950s.

Oh shit. I didn’t realize it was “interesting cars”. Some reason, I read it as “intersting thing”. :smack:

Yeah, I figured.

I was a little confused as well.

You must admit, the car with the missile launcher would be the most interesting on the road virtually any day.

As in, it would draw a lot of interest from the authorities…

I’ve got a red '80 model.

And I’ve got a friend’s 280Z sitting in my yard to sell.

If I had a Bond Girl (images!) next to me, I’d risk driving it.

My very first car was a ‘79 X1/9, and when I was in the dealership I was eyeballing those Fiat 2000s. Tempting!

Today: a bright orange Chevy Vega station wagon. A clean running car.

A Dodge Aries K car, sitting in a driveway with one flat tire. I wonder if it’s someone’s winter car.

I saw something I would never have guessed I 'd see in Alberta in the middle of December; a blacked out Lamborghini Aventador driving from Calgary to Red Deer! If that’s their winter beater what the hell are they driving in the summer, a Koneigsegg Agera? Also, three Tesla Model S’s on the same drive.

Whoa, wait what? I know this wasn’t on-topic, but would you consider telling the story, here or in a new thread?

So many questions.

nm. Wrong thread.

A Delorean! Conventional power, no Mr. Fusion.

Huh, a Calgarian with more money than sense? Call the Globe and Mail!! :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s 45°, going up to mid/upper 50°s today.

Dear Mr. 911 owner,
It’s not that warm that the top should be down on your way to work.

<snerk>

I may know one of those drivers. Skilled enough to drive a Lambo in winter, adventurous enough to do so but I think was out of town at the time. I’ll have to ask.

Today, an Alfa Romeo GTV6. Gorgeous. Been yonks since I’ve seen one of those in the States.

Yesterday afternoon I saw a new, black SUV, possibly a RAV-4 sitting in someone’s driveway with a big silver bow on the hood.

I thought that only happened in TV commercials.
