There is a woman who lives down the street from me. First off, she spends a lot of her time watching traffic at the corner in her nightgown, that’s a little strange. Secondly I noticed something in January, her weird little garden was still in “bloom”. She had merely stuck ugly plastic flowers in the dirt in front of her house. getting a head start on this summer I guess.
i live in a great little suburban area (not the new every-house-the-same, no-trees, organized community types) and there’s this house that someone has remodelled. they’ve made it look like a mansion. high windows. big columns. it’s a good 4 stories higher than any other house around. sticks out like a sore thumb. the worst of it…it’s right behind a church. :rolleyes:

People who seem to think it is cool/classy/trendy/whatever to leave the brand tags on sleeves of suits and overcoats.
What the HELL are they thinking? Rip these things off, dammit! It makes you look VERY dumb.

Yup, one of our contractors wore this combo into work a few years back.
Of course, I’m one to talk, as I do wear boots and shorts, but for the record they are blue doc martins, and they are fairly low cut.
I also have a set of, well, not quite cabana lights. It’s a string of x-mas lights, but with plastic pink flamingos and palm trees that go over the bulbs. So tacky I couldn’t resist
