When it gets that cold in Miami, I migrate South for the winter.
It’s been quite awhile in the records since the high never reached 70 in July here either–never thought I’d get to experience such a July day again, recalling many such from my childhood here. Definitely got me out of the apt. over the last two days to squeeze all the juice that I could out of them, all sorts of pollinators at the local gardens. Of course the PM 2.5 is back today, haze combined with high cirrus, but it was awesome while it lasted. I also find cool and unhumid outside air at night to be MUCH more refreshing and restful than the air conditioned kind too.
I woke to 60° in southern Merrylande. For the next couple of weeks, we’re promised highs in the 80s and lows in the 60s. I’ve had my a/c off for better than 24 hours so far.
South Eastern Australia, 5.15am, and it’s 10.4c. That’s really warm compared to weather we’ve had last week, where the ambient temp and windchill was enough to send it plummeting to a ‘feels like’ temp of -2c.
The highs have been barely 90F / 32C in Miami. So a couple days ago I traveled south from 26 N latitude to a Caribbean island at 19N latitude in search of more warmth. Same weather; no warmer. Darn. 
Central Switzerland, today’s predicted high is a beautiful 25°C / 77°F with some random bits of drizzle.
Later this week the high will reach somewhere between 35°C / 95°F and 40°C / 104°F, depending on the predictive model.
Severe drought and extreme fire risk.
Here in my sweltering little corner of the US (Nebraska) we had a heat index of 115 yesterday.
Predicted to be no better today.
Woke up a little after 0600; NWS says the temp at 0556 was 55.9F, which was the overnight low. Predicted high for today (and tomorrow) is 81.
I’m not sure exactly how warm it was yesterday, but I was fairly comfortable during my bicycle ride.
As I type thus it is 93F. I mowed my back yard earlier – it wasn’t too awful then (about 10 AM)

Just now in Topeka Kansas it is 99F, that’s a litte over 37C.
As I type this my outdoor thermometer reads 97F. It is supposed to be 10F lower tomorrow
My street is being torn up – I think the workers took a break (they are now back)

I’m on a tropical Caribbean island at 19N. The high today was about 88F. Right now at 9:50pm it’s 82F on the way down to 81F and expected to top out at 92F mid-afternoon tomorrow = Tue.
The southern border of MN where you live is ~43N. I’m 44 degrees = ~4000 miles equator-ward of you. And significantly cooler.
The gods are either crazy, or mightily pissed at us all.
I think it’s both.
