Moving this from IMHO to Cafe Society.
I think I’ll split my time between Comedy Central and Dan Rather-on Election Night it’s a toss up as to which is funnier.

I have no love for CBS (the moldiest of Old Media), but I have very fond memories of Dan Rather choking up on the air in November 1994 when it became obvious that the Dems were getting creamed everywhere. Honestly, by his reaction, you would’ve thought he was witnessing the rape and murder of his grandmother.
So, I cannot wait to watch Dan’s reaction this time, when Mr. Bush carries the day - in spite of the phoney memos. Ah, karma.
Oh, and I will probably follow Dick Morris and Pat Caddell, regardless of which channel they are on. Those two are a lot of fun - smart and objective, too.
I have no TV and my radio reception sucks so I will be following it via the internet. Or rather, I will probably be in #straightdope and just look in there occasionally as it will be the topic of discussion most likely.
I also have a six pack of beer in the fridge that, after a month of just sitting there, I expect to find use for that night.
I’m going to try my hardest not to watch anything since my SO will be gone that night and I have the feeling I’m going to end up crying and sucking down a giant bottle of White Russian and I hate doing that alone. But I might watch part of the Daily Show coverage just because Jon Stewart and Mo Rocca are so sassy.
