Listening to Lynn Rosetto Kasper’s "The Splendid Table on MPR. During her call-in segment she plays "Call me (And I’ll be around) and I end up humming it for several hours afterwords.
It’s not The Spinner’s version but rather a female voice. I don’t believe it’s Petula Clark so I don’t know who it is.
I don’t care for this song and resent the space it take up in my head every week.

Some bank commercial - Chase I believe? - has been using “Ohh, oh, ohhh, it’s magic, you knooooooowwwww” in their recent spots, and that fucking intro has been stuck in my head off and on for DAYS. I didn’t even know *why *at first. Then the commercial came on again this morning, and I kinda scared the cats screaming at the TV to drown out the sound. (I can’t stick my fingers in both ears and work the remote at the same time to mute the horror.)
Now it’s stuck again. I could KILL the Chase ad dept. right now.
