For three days, the radio of my mind has been playing “Rock The Casbah” by … do I really have to tell you?
I can think of worse earworms.

… unless you’re replacing the real words with “Scoop the cat box”
Just the chorus from Luke Bryan’s “Rain is a Good Thing”… it’s lodged in there pretty firmly right now.
Still “Miss Otis Regrets.” Gah. Jayjay, I WILL have my revenge someday!
(Mine’s the Frances Faye version.)
The Safety Dance.
Yeah, me too, except,
Bunnies aren’t just cute as everybody supposes
They got them hoppy legs and twitchy little noses

I saw a TV interview with someone (can’t remember who, or what show now) where the guy stated that to stop this, you need an “eraser song”. Apparently these are songs that don’t have the catchy tune required to create an earworm in the first place.
The only one I can remember is Tiny Tim’s “Tip Toe Through the Tulips”. Probably because it’s such an unpleasant “untuneful” song. It does seem to work though, at least for me.
Yeah, I was hooked on that one back when Windows 98 came out and the video was included.

“Only Yesterday” (Carpenters)
I also remember a time when I was wearing out my CD player (if not the CD) listening to REO Speedwagon’s “Roll With the Changes”
Shinedown’s “Crow Chasing a Butterly.” If you’re not bawling by the end, you are not human. Wish I could get it out of my head!
Dreams Dreams from NiGHTs into Dreams. This despite the fact that i have never played the game. My head sucks.
That goddamned title song from “True Grit” has been an earworm since I first saw the movie. Great movie, but I can’t watch it again for fear the worm will grow stronger.
Just took the kids to their first day of school this year. So, bouncing around in my head all day has been Billy Madison singing Back To School.
Some idiot in the transit station was playing “Hava Nagila” on a recorder this morning…
“Up in the Air, Junior Birdmen”.
Please kill me.
Quiet, but not dead…
Laying in bed last night, I was trying to put myself to sleep with Youtube. Somehow ended up watching a few Frank Zappa items.
“I might be moving to Montana soon”… Arrrrgh!! Make it stop!
“You’re Going to Miss This” by Trace Atkins. I have no idea why, I just woke up with it.
The Brewfest music from World of Warcraft. It happens every freakin’ year.
