What's your favorite cookie?

Simple enough. What brand of cookie do you like?

For the purposes of this thread, we’re talking about pre-baked, store-bought cookies in an air-tight container. No Toll House recipes or raw dough allowed.

My third choice: Girl Scout Thin Mints

Second choice: Keebler fudge stripes

Winner: Pepperidge Farm Brussels.

Sorry. Geneva. The ones dipped in chocolate then dipped in nuts.

Pinwheels.
Marshmallows and chocolate. How can you go wrong.

Costco makes a really great cookie. Microwaving them and they taste like home made cookies! But it doesn’t have a specific name/brand. So…I’d have to go with Tate.

Girl Scout Thin Mints are about the only non-homemade cookie I eat with any regularity so I guess they win by default.

Nabisco Famous Chocolate Wafers. They are pricy but I’ll treat myself to a box once or twice a year. They’re like giant Oreos without the filling and a bit less sweet.

Pepperidge Farms Milanos (any flavor, but orange is my favorite)

Oreos (original)

Girl Scout Thin Mints

I forget what they’re called but I really enjoy the plain shortbread Girl Scout cookies.

Jingles, Salerno Butter Cookies, Matt’s Chocolate Chip Cookies, and Oreos.

Can you guess what metropolitan area I’m from?

Golden Oreos
Nutter Butters
those iced animal cookies

Danish Wedding Cookies
Lemon Coolers
Snickerdoodle
Chocolate chip
Peanut butter

If we’re talking specific brands, then Girl Scout Thin Mints, followed by the Milano ones that have the thin layer of chocolate between the crispy vanilla disks.

I also love a good pizzelle, though I’m not sure of any specific brands for those.

white cream oreo.

First -Carr’s Ginger Lemon Cremes
Second - Keebler Pecan Sandies*
Third - WalMart’s store brand fudge sandwich cookies. They’re called “twist 'ems” or something close. Don’t judge me.

White chocolate macadamia nut (although difficult to find prepackaged)

Peanut butter sandwich - Gauchos were the de facto standard, but Girl Scout “Do-si-dos” are an acceptable substitue

Pepperidge Farms Chessmen, or similar Danish butter cookies in a tin.

Nabisco Chocolate Snaps

Nabisco Sugar Wafers (with creme filling)

Whoever makes peanut butter cookies with chocolate chips.

Dark chocolate enrobed Milanos from Pepperidge Farm. Dark chocolate shortbread stars from Trader Joes. Mallomars.

Sense a theme here?

Pepperidge Farms Chessmen or Danish butter cookies, as noted above! And Pecan Sandies have expanded their line, now there are Cashew Sandies and Chocolate Chunk Sandies.

I like all Pepperidge Farms cookies, but I don’t buy them for myself very often as I’ll mindlessly eat them just because they’re there, on the kitchen counter.

It’s probably cheating to answer with an assortment, but I’d say Peek Freans Assorted Cremes.

Year-round: Keebler Pecan Sandies, and Key Lime Coolers from Byrd Cookie Co. But I miss Lemon Thins (Nabisco) and Sunshine Lemon Coolers. (Haven’t yet tracked down the new version of Coolers, but I intend to. Maybe to round out Mom’s Christmas stocking.)

In season: those caramel, coconut, and chocolate Girl Scout cookies. Samoas?
