My lunches are pretty standard fare, but I eat all kinds of stuff for breakfast that others might find weird. I like to eat wings, steak, fried fish, Chinese food, burritos, pork chops, hamburgers, hot dogs, etc. for breakfast. Bagels, pastries, cereal, oatmeal and the like feel like I haven’t eaten anything.
That sounds great!
Moving over to CS.
Drained, a dash of Tabasco or other hot sauce and then eaten straight from the can.
When on vacation in Hawaii I have been known to eat Musubi. It is common enough there not to elicit any commentary from the locals, but I’m pretty sure I would be getting strange looks if I walked around eating that on the mainland.
The annoying thing about my friend’s reactions to my meal choice was that every person I was able to convince to try one loved it. Most people wouldn’t try one though convinced that only a being from Mars could consume such an atrocity.
Their loss, more for us.
And here I thought I was weird or unusual in that my sack lunch usually consists of a Cup Noodle, a nutty bar, and a lemon-lime soda.
The nori wrap sounds tasty. I like bibimbap. I’ve only tried making it once. What’s sacha? I’ve never knowingly had furikake, but I looked it up and it sounds like it would be good on a number of dishes.
I rarely eat this at work because it’s kind of messy, but I like mixing salsa with cream cheese and eating it with crackers or Sun Chips.
Fried egg sandwich. (Not egg salad). 2 scrambled eggs fried as a large patty (like making an omelet). Butter, salt, pepper, wheat bread. Yummy…I don’t know why restaurants don’t serve it. I guess it was just a “down on the farm” thing (and more often for a lite supper since lunch was the main meat & taters meal).
Nectar of Satan.
