Lightly toasted rye bread with caraway seeds. Allow to cool off before making sammich.

A few times this spring/summer we’ve made shrimp po’boys. Sprinkle shrimp in loads of creole spice (google for a recipe), grill (preferably with some smoke), put on toasted bread with lots of remoulade + spinach and sliced tomato. Yum.

Has to be a BLT, with a nice fresh picked tomato from the garden.

Cucumber sandwiches are a close second. More refreshing, but garden cukes don’t have the same punch as garden tomatoes.

Just mayo. A good slathering. With three pieces of bread.

Aw c’mon, a BLT with a garden tomato is the obvious answer.

You can never go wrong with a BLT.

Duke’s opposed to Hellman’s? How do they compare in flavor? Never heard of Duke’s.

Tomato, lettuce, cheese, and honey mustard.

BLT of course, followed closely by pimento cheese on toast.

BLOT - bacon, lettuce, (raw) onion and tomato. Delish.
