Gotta say, this isn’t even really my kinda thing but I love it!
Here’s a collection of NBC network and TV show promos from the years 1966 to 1968. My favorite is the one featuring the short-lived “NBC Penguin” at the very end.

Charles Trenet (yes, I know he was gay so there’s that obvious false note, but the point that this world is diminished by his absence yet enriched for his having been with us is not to be overlooked).
I believe the NBC Penguin was only used once, as a joke, in front of the broadcast of A Hard Day’s Night- hence the appearance of the Beatles at the end. (I’ve also seen a gag NBC intro from Laugh-In where the peacock sneezes and blows his feathers off.)
Pink panther cartoons. My whole body aches from laughing.
Late entry. A buddy of mine (Dan) finally posted one of his student films (actually his pal Kurt’s film, but Dan’s the star). It’s shot entirely in B&W, sound dubbed in later, on the extremely cheap – but it works for me. Then again, I’m in it – I’m the guy who gets punched out by a girl.

Entertaining, but I couldn’t make out what the end goal for the device was.
Anyway, along the same lines, is The Bravery’s video for “An Honest Mistake”. Even if you don’t like the band, the video itself is worth watching (even thought the device doesn’t quite do what it’s supposed to).
It appears to be a clip from the Swiss film Der Lauf der Dinge (The Way Things Go). The contraption in the film doesn’t appear to have any goal, and keeps going long after the film ends (we can still hear it go during the credits).
