All those years ago I used to watch those Sesame Shorts with my kids, and I always wondered if it was Grace Slick doing the vocals–it sure sounded like her.
Finally, years and years later, my kids all grown up, I get confirmation of this!

Heh. That’s a good one. Filmed here at U. of Michigan. The first part is in the undergraduate library and the second in a large computer lab called the Fishbowl. My roommate was actually at the UGLi when they filmed that.

For a charity concert in 2004 they got all the Buggles to sing and play “Video killed the radio star”. The first time they played this together live after the original recording in the studio long ago.
