I heard someone on the radio say “only two days left till the weekend”. But since my work week doesn’t end until Saturday, I still got three days till the weekend. When do you have “your Friday”?
I work Tuesday through Saturday, so my weekend is Sunday-Monday.
I don’t have weekends. I have days off here and there.
Mine varies, depending mostly on when I fly back home. I don’t count my time on the plane as the weekend, mentally at least.

I work an odd schedule, a five day ‘week’ then 4 off followed by a two day ‘week’ and three off. So a two week rotation and it works out to roughly 40 hours. My weekend starts either Tuesday or Wednesday, depending.
Monday is my Friday.
My weekend begins on Monday and runs through Sunday.
Friday is my Friday.
9/80 schedule for me. Every other weekend is a 3-day. So half my weekends start on Thursday, half start on Friday.
Another one for whom Monday is Friday - my days off are in the middle of the week.
Although that may be changing as of next week.
I’m retired - every day is my weekend!!
Although my spousal unit still works 4 days a week, so we have Fri-Sun together every week.
I work 6/2, which means 6 days of work and then a “weekend”. So this week I have Friday and Saturday off, next week Saturday and Sunday, then Sunday and Monday etc. Used to be 7/1 - I like this system a lot more even if the pay is of course less.
What Pullin said - 9/80 so half on Thursday, half on Friday.
I work Mon-Weds, home Thurs and Fri with my daughter. So, Wednesday is my Friday. Of the many part-time patterns I’ve done, this is by far the best. I can whine with the best but, hand on heart, I have a great work/life balance.
I work 6 day / 52 hour weeks, but I only work six weeks out of every eight. Yup, I’m lucky!
When I open the first beer…
My work week is Sunday thru Thursday at this time, so my weekend begins tonight/in the morning when I leave work at 12:30 AM.
My vote was wrong. It should have been ‘Friday’ (rather than Saturday).
In my defence, the poll and the thread title are asking different questions.
