I didn’t eat much yesterday, and only had a bowl of cereal for dinner (about an hour after a good workout at the gym).
This morning I had another bowl of cereal for breakfast, then went to the gym and had a hard workout alternating weights and the elliptical machine.
I showered, got dressed and hit some home improvement stores looking for a new ceiling fan.
After walking through the second store and those long, endless aisles, I got to the point were I was more hungry than I’ve been in a while. Wow!
I got home, took steak tips out of the fridge that’ve been marinating since Friday morning and put them in the oven to broil. I then made a baked potato and heated some left over baked beans.
The steak tips melted in my mouth! I added extra salt to the potato and a good portion of A1 sauce for the steak. I washed it all down with ice water with a little lime tonic added.
Oh man, that meal was exactly what I needed! I think I’ll forget the dishes and stretch out on the couch for a little nap.
Anyone else want to share when a meal really, really hit the spot?
