So, what did you have for lunch?

Nothing to brag about here:

PB&J, unsweetened apple sauce, and a Coca-Cola

– though the strawberry jelly was organic and the bread was whole wheat.

Your turn.

A coke and some Oreos. Didn’t feel like leaving the building.

A chicken salad from Evos.

And a grande iced chai latte with 2 shots of espresso from Starbucks.

Today was an eating out day.

I went to Sweet Tomatoes (aka Souplantation.) Caesar salad, summer lemon salad (with walnuts, blue cheese, and dried cranberries) rosemary potato soup, garlic foccacia, a brownie and a key lime coconut muffin.

I lurve Sweet Tomatoes. It’s my indulgence. Usually I eat lunch at my desk, but today, I had to run an errand (and the errand was going to eat lunch at Sweet Tomatoes.)

It’s after 1am here, but today for lunch I had some Korean barbequed chicken the wife brought home for me and a couple of bananas. And some soy milk.

I’d been craving fried eggs all week.
So today I ran down to IHOP for lunch and got 2 over easy, bacon and hash browns. Hit the spot!

Subway turkey sub on wheat bread; no cheese; with lettuce, spinach, pickles, onions, green peppers, cucumbers and jalapenos; yellow mustard, vinegar, salt & pepper. Bag of chips and a diet Dr Pepper.

Subway BLT sub extra lettuce and tomato then to Starbucks for a large and very deliciously strong black coffee, no sugar

Subway trifecta! 6-inch wheat with vegetables only, light mayo, Baked Lay’s, Diet Dr Pepper from home.

Ran to the grocery store and grabbed the ever glamorous stouffer’s mac n cheese. I loved that crispy burned cheese!

Nalley chili and Premium saltine crackers, and a Coke. Most of what I eat during the week are things I heat up in the microwave at work.

My company has recently started providing a subsidized lunch. Today the option I took was a hamburger and fries. The hamburger was pretty good, but the fries were inedible. I talked to our kitchen coordinator- this is the second brand of fries she’s tried, so she’s going to keep looking.

I should’ve ordered the panang beef dish that I ordered yesterday- that was really tasty.

Chicken something something Lean Pocket, BBQ potato chips, and a Diet Mt. Dew (Yeah, I’m extreme, extreme Diet)

A chicken breast and a side of rice from YaYa’s. Yummy but totally overpriced.

I’m off on vacation this week, so I took advantage of it to go to a favorite local restaurant that is normally just open for lunch.

I had the Roast Beef and Brie Panini. My sons had the Shrimp BLT and the Chicken and Shrimp Tostada. All were incredibly good.

I had a wrap with turkey breast, romaine lettuce, mozzarella cheese, pickles, bacon bits, and a drizzle of catalina and ranch dressings. It probably sounds like a weird combination, but I love it. I also had some strawberry fat-free yogurt with half a cup of fresh blueberries, and a Diet Dr. Pepper. It’s pretty much what I have for lunch every day, except usually I have homemade granola on my yogurt. I also sometimes have ham on my wrap instead of turkey.

Papa John’s pizza and water. What? It was free.

I had a pack of peanut butter crackers around 10:00 AM. It’s 4:00 PM right now, and it’s all I’ve had to eat today.

A Lean Pocket. Some sort of steak-n-cheese-n-peppers thing. It was buried in the back of the freezer.

We desperately need to go food shopping…

Nothing yet, had a Supreme Crescent & hash browns at Jack in Box this morning- the grease is filling. Hope to make it one more hour 4:00.
