When is the best time to watch... ?

Walking by the DVD shelves, I noticed the Harry Potter films. The abortive Jethro Tull and LOTR thread reminded me I need to watch LOTR again. (Or maybe remembering I need to watch it prompted the thread. Or something.) I have the Twin Peaks series. And Fargo.

When is the best time to watch these films? Fargo is fun to watch when the sun sets around 1630 and it’s freezing cold out. Must be the snow. How about the others? And what other films are good to watch under specific conditions/in specific seasons?

I find that the best time to watch the Godfather films is during the cool, crisp autumn.

Also, I enjoy watching The Sopranos during the months of January and February (but that may be primarily due to enjoying the “Pine Barrens” episode so thoroughly).

The films mentioned are a godsend on a long, hot, dozy summer evening when I can just veg on the couch in front of a fan, with a cold drink. I may have seen them many times, but so what? It’s not like there’s anything on TV.
