Clicking on links and waiting a long time takes a long time. At what time of day is the SDMB least used?
I’m shocked this hasn’t been asked before. A search turned up no threads in the last month with the word “busy” in their title that were any use to me.

I have the best luck around 1:30 PM eastern US time; I don’t know what that is in GMT.
'Cause NZ is 12 hours ahead of GMT (usually!) I’ll take a stab and say between 7 am to 1 pm GMT, with a half-hour downtime for backup and maintenance during that time.

Ice Wolf is right 6 or 7am 'till 1 or 2pm is the fastest time (and the downtime is between 9:30-10:00am give or take a few minutes). After 9:00pm is normally quite fast.
Weekends and US public holidays are pretty good too.
I get to work at 8:30am (GMT) and have an hour of pleasure-filled lightning-fast posting before the hamsters get their smoke break and the b*stard who runs the office arrives…
By lunchtime when I post again, it is slower and by 4pm it is like treacle…
