When you were little, Who was your Childhood Cartoon Hero?

Aside from Gadget…Dr. Egon Spengler, from The Real Ghostbusters.

I always liked the “brainy” guy (or girl) in the series’ I watched.

Me too. I also cried in the theater at Transformers: The Movie.

I wanted to hang out with Jonny Quest, because he got to do such cool things. And since that meant I would get to hang out with the really hot Race Bannon, so much the better.

I too thought I was going to be the first Danger Mouse disciple, but I guess DM resonated with more than just me. Of course, Penfold was the greatest sidekick EVER…one of the real reasons I loved the show.

Jman

When I was about 3 I liked Aquaman. I also liked the Loony Tunes characters, especially Taz (even after I learned that Tasmanian devils didn’t spin like tornadoes he was still one of my favorites.)

When I was 6 I liked watching The Perilous Perils of Penelope Pitstop, a show where a group of gnomes (?) tried to protect the airheaded Penelope from the creepy Hooded Claw, who for some reason wanted to kill her. I think I liked the Hooded Claw better than Penelope, who had little discernable personality.

I also liked Tom & Jerry. I always rooted for Tom.

Gnot Gnomes.

Gmerely Gmidget Ggansters.

Another Wonder Woman fan here.

I froze my but off 3 years in a row going trick-or-treating in the Michigan autumn in the Wonder Woman costume my mom made me. Boy, was I upset when the TV show came on and I realized that, unbeknownst to me, she had a cape. I could have stayed much warmer!

My brothers and I worshipped Bullwinkle.

What, no other ThunderCats fans??

I was Cheetara (scroll down, on right) every day at recess for the whole of my kindergarten year, just 'cause I was so fast! Poor Shawna always got stuck being WileyKit, the only other femal ThunderCat. Jason, of course, was Lion-O.

I, too, wanted to be Jem - my star-shaped earrings were purple and glittery. I guess that’s why they didn’t work! :frowning:

Mine were Speed Racer and Kimba the White Lion. (I think if Speed had been a white lion, he’d have looked like Kimba).

I got the anime bug at an early age.

But it’s hard to be Voltron, and it’s hard to find 14 close neighborhood kids to join you in your quest to make up the Voltron ship…it just doesn’t work very well.

When I was littler Wonder Woman (and occasionally isis). I had the swimsuit, (and of course, the underoos) & raided the aluminum foil for the bracelets and the crown - and I had a magic lasso, but I’m not sure what I used for that. Plus, you got to spin really fast when turning from Diana to Wonderwoman. What’s not fun?

When I was slightly less little, The Baroness. She was just plain cool.
