You make it sound like the school performed some sort of sex change operation. I am under the impression that it is pretty much along the lines of:
(Student) Treat me as a female now.
(School) OK.
(Parents) Excuse Us? Our Son is Male.

Yes, if a student wants to prefer to be called a gender, the school should respect that. But there is nothing medical going on.

Trump competes with the Bible when it comes to other people having to interpret what was said, and that it’s not as crazy as it sounds.
