Where are you going on your next vacation?

Siemsi, women who have no problems during pregnancy, can fly up to usually 7-8 months. Ask your doctor.

BTW, Congrats.

I was looking forward to a couple of weeks in Bali with my wife…but that big 9-month pregnant belly has placed our vacation plans on hold for a very long time…

I might be going back to Barbados in a few months. My brother and his fiancee have notified the family that they will be getting married in a few months, somewhere warm, so start saving. I’m guessing it’ll probably be Barbados, as that’s where they got engaged. I can’t wait to go back.

Otherwise, the only planned vacation I have isn’t until October. A bus trip with my mom to NYC. It’ll be our first time, and we’re very very excited!

Colorado Springs, Colorado - where our Air Force daughter will be stationed.

Originally, she was headed for Germany (Bitburg) - which would’ve been a cool vacation, too. We’re happier that she’s going to be state side tho

I leave in late April for my vacation:
Stafford, England for 3 days (classic motorcycle show)
London for 3 days (tourist stuff)
Ulm, Germany for 4 days (prewar German vehicle show)
Amsterdam for 4 days (bingo and sunday school)

7 day cruise next month …can’t wait!!!

Beach! Rum! Cigars!

Cuba!

Now I’ll be thinking of my next vacation all day, thanks.

I’m always thinking of my next vacation. What’s the point of going to work, otherwise?

Thanks for all the replies so far - keep ‘em comin’!

Thanks Shirley!..

I figured that it’s safe…I’m just paranoid since I’ve waited 3 long years for this child and don’t want to risk anything.

We’re just going to postphone the trip until next June---- it will be more fun with the relatives going “ga ga” over my new little one, anyways!

Mum’s trading in a shitload of frequent flyer points and we’re going to the United Arab Emirates (we have friends there), so if istara wants to meet up…

After that it’s on to England, and hopefully a couple of days in Amsterdam (got relatives there).

Most likely we’ll go July sometime.

Trinidad! My friend Pete and I leave next month for a birding vacation. I’m also planning on meeting up with Jillcat for a MiniTriniDopeFest while we’re there.

Dope and Colorful Birds - ahhh, bliss!

Northern California…leaving tomorrow! Yahoo!

Two weeks in London and Paris in late February with Mrs Wavy and the three Wavettes! I can’t wait!

To Santa Barbara for a day in Feb. San Diego for a few nights in April. Possibly to Vegas in the summer. Back to San Diego in December.

Porcupine, make sure to feed the pigeons in San Marco’s Square. Your arms may get a little scratched up, but it’s still a lot of fun. Also, the gondaliers charge outrageous amounts to get a ride in the gondalas. Ask their price, then walk away. They should talk for a minute or two amongst themselves, then one of them will probably come running after you with a lower offer.

As for me, the next big vaccation I’m going will be over the summer. I’ll stop for a few days in London, then a few days in Madrid, then a month studying (and partying) in Salamanca.

In Feb I’m meeting my brother and friend from college and we’re going skiing for a week in the Canadian Rockies. I can’t wait! This has become an annual trip for us that I wouldn’t miss for the world. The first year we went to Mt. Tremblant, PQ, then two years in Banff, AB, and this year we’re going to Panorama resort in eastern BC. With a side trip or two to Kicking Horse.

I am sooo excited!!! And I [heart] Canada!

porcupine, say hi to Venice for me! It was one of our stops when the wife and I went to Yurp last June. Amazing city, and another of the world’s great walking cities. My advice: buy a good, detailed map, then get yourself lost.

Also, you can see the Piazza de San Marco crowded with people in mid-afternoon, or enjoy its spaciousness practically all to yourself at 7am, whichever you prefer. (I liked both, for different reasons.)

Mrs. F. and I are contemplating an Alaska cruise for June or July. Haven’t started planning yet.

I’m getting a little tired of Europe (and yes that’s just wrong), so my next trip is somewhere different. Maybe Australia? It’s certainly cheap once you get there, but the airfare kills me. Or maybe somewhere tropical for once, rather than Europe in the fall.

Either the Maldive Islands for scuba, or Thailand, for, well, Thailand.
I leave in a little over two months for Sri Lanka, and I’m seeing that as a paid vacation. even though I’ll be working.

Italy, this summer!!! As much as I can possibly see in two weeks.

I might hit the BC coast again between now and then (for the weekend) but that’s the next real vacation. (Actually, it’s my second real vacation ever. Pretty cool)
