This place is on lockdown for all but medically necessary visits. I’m out of clean clothes and protein bars and drinks. As this place is determined to kill me by starvation, I really need those.
I’m also not using insulin provided here. I got my good stuff that goes in my pump at home.
The lil’wrekker came up with a way to get in by using the ‘need’ for my insulin.
She’ll get to come in for 15 minutes. Washed and masked. No hugs or kisses.

No, I haven’t been tested. No symptoms, no reason to think I’ve been exposed. But if I or anyone else in the household develops indications, we’ll get tested.

This afternoon I had an indicated temp of 101.7F. Could I get tested? Nah, they just tried different thermometers until one gave them a temp they liked better.

The lil’wrekker had to promise her first born child to get in here, but they allowed some volunteer group come in passing out St. Pats cookies and cupcakes. :smack:

dropzone, somebody needs to raise a stink. You need to be tested! If it’s not COVID-19, then they need to determine what it is and treat it accordingly. Don’t you have somebody you can sic on 'em?
Sure, my oldest daughter is at loose ends now that she’s down to one job and no school, but I won’t bother because I get their reasoning. I’m mostly asymptomatic, that higher temp was a fluke based on how I feel, and I’m already in a bed in a medical facility. Everything that would happen has already happened except the paperwork and I’ll continue to self isolate.
Are you still consorting with Frau Hilda? Have you and she come to an “understanding”?
Hilda? I left her and her cronies at the rehab. Along with decent food.
Surgeon:Meany-head gave me grief about being problematic. He actually said I look much better than my chart reads.
If my infection starts responding to the treatment we could look at early next week for discharge
