I’ve got some painting to do and I want my iPod but I can’t find the damned thing. I know I had it yesterday afternoon, but I can’t find it anywhere! What did I do with it?

I was looking for mine a couple weeks ago, as I prepared to cut my grass. Haven’t found it yet. I’m so desperate that I am reading this thread.
Check the freezer, that’s where I found the TV remote.
Well, check your garage. that’s where mine turned up. On the bandsaw. And I don’t even remember going into the garage yesterday!

On a serious note, I lost my iPod in February on a road trip to San Diego. I thought I must have left it in the restroom in Goodwater when I crapped my pants, because I searched through my buddy’s car and found no sign of it. He called me in June saying that he had found it earlier that day while he was doing his thorough weekly car cleaning. WTF?
In other words, good luck; it might be awhile!!

I recently found the car keys in the freezer. I wasn’t looking for them, it was more like – open freezer door, grab cold beverage, close freezer door. Pause. Go :dubious:. Realize something about the picture my eyes had sent to my brain wasn’t quite right. Open freezer door again, cautiously. Find car keys on top of the cheddar.
And when I told that story to a friend, he said I’d told it to him already. :smack:

Thank you! I do not have a garage, but I have a shed (go Amish peeps!) and have not looked in there yet. I will check when I get home tonight.
It’s in the front pocket of your backpack, vetbridge. I made a mental note of it when I put mine there on the way back from vacation some 3 weeks ago. I keep remembering it’s there, but only when I’m in my car - nowhere near my backpack.

It’s in the couch - not between the cushions that you sit on but wedged way, way under the back cushions.
I vote for on top of the fridge, or on top of the nearest bookshelf to the bathroom or telephone. I put paperbacks there all the time.

I just wanna know what happened to the music coming out of the right headphone of of the buds I use with mine. I keep looking around and around but it doesn’t come out >here<. Time for some new 10-dollar headphones, I guess!
