Okay, I’m oblivious, I admit it… I heard Bruce Campbell did a cameo in the arachnid movie, but I missed it entirely. Where was he?
According to IMDb, he’s the ring announcer.
Sorry, meant to give you the Cast & Crew page.
yup he was definetly the ring announcer. He was the man who named Peter Parker “The Amazing Spiderman”.
I was beginning to think you were talking about Bruce Wayne…
I thought he ment Bruce Banner, and i was gonna say “in the preview BEFORE the movie!”
Gracias. Not very recognizable, was he?
I recognized him.
But I missed Lucy Lawless.
i saw Stan Lee, that was my big thrill.
I saw Lucy Lawless, she was one of the “on the street” interviews about who or what Spider-Man is…I only recognized her because I recognized her voice first.
Why is it a big deal for Lucy Lawless to have a cameo in Spider-Man?
Because of the Sam Raimi-Xena connection.
Sam Raimi executive produced Xena: Warrior Princess
And isn’t she married to Xena producer and longtime Raimi collaborator/partner in crime Rob Tapert? Layers within layers, man.
Really? Where was he?
In the crowd scene when the Green Goblin first attacked. He was the old man who pulled a little girl away from the melee between
SM and GG. Stan Lee also has appeared or will appear in the following movies… [SLIGHT SPOILERS]
X-Men: he was the hot-dog vender on the beach.
Spider-man: see above.
Hulk: he’s said in an interview he’ll be driving a car.
Daredevil: he’s an old man who is saved by a young Matt Murdock.
.:Nichol:.
I wonder how Stan Lee feels about getting an “old man” credit everywhere he appears.
He was brilliant in The Simpsons as himself (or as his deranged self).
Where was Ted Raimi in Spider-Man? I missed him too.
Too Funny! I said to my wife that I thought I saw stan lee in the crowd and she looked at me funny! I am apparently not crazy! WOO HOO!!!
Ted Raimi was the worker that came into JJ Jameson’s [sub]Sp?[/sub] office and announced that the bugle had sold ads to 2 stores on the same page. I am not 100% sure of that but am fairly certain that was him.

This would be a great cameo.
(Note: In the TV Movie, The Trial of the Incredible Hulk, Stan the Man was a member of the jury.)
