Where Was This Picture Taken?

Yep.

People from the Chicago area should be familiar with f/803/6777.jpg. The other two are about 50 miles away from each other in the southern US.

Still, there’s palm trees in the photo, they don’t have those in Germany or Central Europe

Berlin, Potsdamer Platz

London?

Is that the White House in the distance?

Similar style but you’re about 1200 miles off.

That’s what I meant … 1200 miles in the distance

Whoops, too slow.

Here’s more! (All different continents).

The Yangtze river in China. Looks like a spectacularly nice trip to take.

Yup, super spectacular. Glad to see it wasn’t flooded by the dam. as I was under the impression that it might have been. That website is interesting because there was no English speaking tour guides and I had no idea about the significance of a a lot of the sights. I 'm really glad that I had the chance to see the Three Gorges before its unfortunate demise.

Correct. At the Sony Center.

That cable cart in Rio that is also in that James Bond movie?

Zagreb?

Sorry, nope to both.

45 looks like the QVB in Sydney I think.

The gorgeous Queen Victoria Building is correct!

Number 44 really looks like Prague, but I can’t place the church spire. Somewhere up on the hill by the castle, or even part of the castle?

Edit: it’s this roof right here. That spire is kind of well hidden from most angles. St Vitus’ Cathedral.

And was number 41 taken from here?

The Torres del Paine in Chile are the only mountains I can think of that are as gnarly as that.

Yep, I think these are the same peaks. On my wishlist!

Right on both accounts.

And right with 42?

Nobody has guessed this one that I posted yet. More of a general city view rather than a specific building but not sure if that makes it easier or harder!

Not sure if these are going to show up (or if they’ll show up with locations listed), but:

Torres del Paine is correct. The two layered color is very distinctive.
