Where will you be to hear the news tonight?

So the deadline for Saddam Hussein expires at 8:00 pm tonight, correct? Where will you be when the deadline expires, and will you have the news on the radio, tv, internet, or not at all?

Internet. I’m not going to just stick around and hit Refresh, though. I usually check the news several times a day, so I’m bound to find out within a short time.

In bed, asleep. It’ll be during the night over here, and I have work tomorrow. I have a fairly clear expectation of what will happen anyway.

Lying in bed with the BBC World Service in my earphones. The deadline’s around 1.15am here. Though to be honest, I would expect a day or so’s timelag between the deadline and the first bombs falling.

I’ll be sitting in front of the TV tonight when the deadline is up. And then the samething, when the news shows all those Iraqi soldiers surrendering. Then again in the same place when Saddam is being forced in to exile, or tried for war crimes, or found with a sudden quote fingers heart attack quote fingers

It’s a tense day at Casa Scarlett. In addition to war news, we’re expecting a call from a friend after what may be her final visit to the divorce lawyer. If she’s lucky, the ex will cooperate and everything will be final. We’re keeping our fingers crossed on several fronts.

I’ll be here at my desk working. I got the news about 9/11 from the SDMB; that may well happen again.

My dad is getting a war for his birthday. It’s also the anniversary of the day Mr. S proposed. No celebrations today. :frowning:

One of the kids will be at night class, one will be at work and one will probably be online. Mrs. Kunilou and I will have the TV on while we’re cleaning up after dinner.
