Where's the oat in my oat cracker?

On a whim, I purchased some Ego Brand Oat Digestive Crackers (almond flavor) from an Asian supermarket. On the front, it says “Natural Oat Fibre”. The word “Oat” is extremely prominent. The packaging features a picture of something that is presumably oat. (although it also contains something that appears to be wheat)

The ingredients list: Wheat Flour, Palm Oil, Sugar, Almond, Sesame, Wheat Germ, Leavening Agent, Salt

Buh?

Checking the back, it appears to be manufactured in Malaysia by a company based in Singapore. Does the word “oat” mean something different overseas?

Maybe the leavening agent is made of oat. :dubious:

I bought some “Real Apple” flavored water.

No apples at all in the ingredients. And oddly enough it still tasted like a real apple (a red delicious to be exact). Not a fakey “sour apple” candy taste either.
